Jobfit

Jobfit

📖Background

Data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) shows that as of August 2023, there were 9.89 million Gen Z in Indonesia who were unemployed. This figure is equivalent to 22.5% of the total Gen Z population in Indonesia aged 15-24 years. This is a crisis that needs to be addressed immediately.

JobFit is a talent solution application that is the right solution to solve the unemployment problem in Indonesia. By using this application, it is expected to increase their chances of getting a job that suits their interests and qualifications, develop the skills needed by the job market, and help companies find the right candidates for their company.

❗Problem

There are several factors that cause the high unemployment rate among Gen Z, including:

  • Mismatch between Gen Z's skills and industry needs

  • Lack of access to information about job opportunities

  • Difficulty in building a professional network

🎯Project Goal

Through Jobfit, we help users find events or leisure destinations that suit their needs across the globe, and make it easy to purchase tickets online without the need to login or create an account.

  2. Designing an efficient and intuitive user flow.

  3. Developing design documents such as user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and mockups with attention to detail to ensure an optimal user experience.

🔍Scope

This project covers all the needs of Jobfit prototype development (job & upskilling) with features that can help users later. I create 4 pages, which is

  2. Home page

  3. Job page

✏️Design Process

Web Inspirations

I explored how they create visually appealing and functional interfaces. From there, I combined the best elements to craft a design tailored to Jobfit’s users.

Information Architecture

My goal was to ensure a clear, logical flow so users could easily find the information they need without feeling lost.

Design System

To maintain consistency, I developed a comprehensive design system. This included components like buttons, typography, colors, and grids.

Mockup

I created mockups to visualize how the app would look and function. I ensured that every element, from layout to interactions, aligned with user needs. These mockups were essential in gathering feedback for further refinement.

I also focused on making the web fully responsive. Knowing that many users access webs on their phones, I designed an interface that adapts beautifully across different devices, ensuring usability and accessibility everywhere. I make the design with 430 px width.

🏆Final Result

The final product is an app that’s both intuitive and impactful. It simplifies job search and recruitment processes, helping users achieve their goals with ease and efficiency.

Here is the prototype. I make little interaction for this website.

✨What I've done

Throughout this project, I played a key role in designing and refining the Jobfit platform to ensure it met user needs and provided an intuitive experience. Here's what I accomplished:

  • Designed multiple key pages for the platform, focusing on usability and aesthetics.

  • Worked collaboratively with another UI designer to align design consistency and creativity.

  • Partnered with the project manager to ensure the design aligned with project goals and user requirements.

  • Gathered and implemented feedback from stakeholders to refine and improve the design.

🗝️Key Insight

  • Keep it simple
A clean, user-friendly design always wins—it makes the experience smooth and enjoyable.

  • Consistency is key
Having a cohesive look across the web builds trust and helps users navigate easily.

  • Adaptability is non-negotiable
Making sure the web looks and works great on any device is just basic these days.
